ABOUT

Leena Fredriksson is a Finnish artist, designer and visual storyteller creating original visual worlds where art, design and storytelling come together.

A woman kneeling on the floor, writing on a large sheet of white paper, in a bright room with white brick walls and large windows.

With over 25 years of experience in illustration, graphic design, pattern and textile design, Leena combines artistic expression with a strong understanding of visual communication, brand development and licensing.

She creates original artworks, pattern collections and character-driven concepts that can evolve across exhibitions, products, publishing and licensing.

Leena is the creator of Momolu®, an internationally recognised preschool brand developed into a multi-platform property spanning animation, publishing and licensed products. The success of Momolu reflects her ability to build complete visual worlds—from original ideas and characters to international collaborations.

Alongside her commercial work, Leena continues to develop her own artistic practice through Character Art, Floral Art and Abstract Art. Her work has been exhibited internationally across Europe, the United States and Japan.

Rooted in Nordic aesthetics and a passion for storytelling, Leena creates original visual worlds that connect imagination with meaningful experiences.
