My own collection inspired by a strange little troop that has wandered into the Finnish forest — each one carrying a piece of the wrong world with them, from Polka Bear in his denim overalls to a pair of gulls who can't quite find their bearings, a quiet mouse, a sly squirrel, and a few more misfits besides, all trying to figure out how to belong somewhere they were never meant to be, blending playful character illustration with the quiet calm of Nordic nature into fabric and pattern.
